History
At first we began in 1999 under the name The Ruff Site, we're we only took party pictures of any event or party available in Belgium. So did we take pictures at events with artists such 112, Dru Hill, etc. We've done this until 2006
After a while we made a co-site D.OG Design in 2003 with sole purpose to design websites, flyers, posters and other demands. Shortly in 2004 we added to option for photoshoots to D.OG Design. As time got the best of us we started to do things differently and so LaPelicula Photostudio started off as mile project that flamed our passion for photography even more, yet it had no name for it.
LaPelicula Photostudio came to name in 2008 and started to grow as we started to make a simple mark to help out other in gaining something that they can use to make something new for themselves. LaPelicula today is now not merely a project but a way of progressing and bringin a product that has it own worth.
My name, Samuel Somers,
born and living in Belgium since 1977.
I
work as an IT manager for two companies while I have my passion for photography after
my daily work hours and weekends to be a work that thrills me alot. Because i always
loved drawing, i changed studies for graphic design
after studying some of modern languages. My studies for
graphic designer and completed my course as such. In those years that I studied Graphic Design and Photography was a party of it.
That change
in my life really opened up a new world to me with photography that gave my passion a
change in my life. I started learning new techniques
on my own, started to evolve after time and especially
because one of my best friends & UK model Tia
Magno and I still do learn new things each time we work together. Even in these past years I learned new friends, photographers & models alike, that inspire me with their work.

With every request for a photoshoot we try to prepare every single thoroughly so that a mandate has been met. By doing so we always set every photoshoot in a delay of two to three weeks after the formal request for a shoot. In order to meet the requirements asked, we prepare every detail of the shoot in those two or three weeks.
The reason behind such delay is because in those two to three weeks other photoshoots take place and we can't take all the demands in a shorter time of period. And also gives us time to prepare with you the workmap of what you'd like to do.
